Family and faith have always been at the root of my life.  Having grown up on a dairy farm where hard work and teamwork as a family were essential to the viability and sustainability of a way of life, I have been fortunate to impart that same lesson to my kids on our farm in Greenbrier.  Being Married for 28 years and dad to three amazing kiddos who are leaving their mark on the world, Kristen and I feel the time is now to get involved at a level that will give a voice to the people of our community and the great state of Arkansas.

There has always been a desire to make an impact on people around me as far back as my days in 4-H and FFA.  Taking a project that must be researched and designed into a well-thought-out plan, which is then implemented and defended, builds confidence and a willingness to work with others for a common purpose and outcome.  My personality leans into serving others.  Making decisions based on the will of the people and the good of the people.  My desire is not to be right but to build relationships.  To understand the stories of the people we serve.  To communicate with fellow lawmakers in a way that common ground is attainable.
